UID Mouse Matrix
The UID Mouse Matrix was developed to address the challenges researchers face when evaluating temperature and activity in undisturbed mice. This novel RFID-enabled system allows for continuous and remote monitoring of digital biomarkers, temperature and activity, for one or multiple mice in the home cage.
The Mouse Matrix is basically an RFID reader board that is placed under each cage to record the animal’s location, movement and temperature. The system enables noninvasive, undisturbed and continuous monitoring of group-housed mice in a home cage setting. The data is automatically collected (day and night), and it is available throughout the course of the study in real time. The system provides a practical and flexible solution in a scalable framework to fit all needs and budgets. The system is compatible for monitoring as little as one static cage and scaling up for monitoring hundreds of cages from high-density IVC rack systems.
Leddy system, a battery-powered, fully programmable IVC lighting control system for standard IVC cages. When used in conjunction with red/black plastic cages, it helps to shift animal circadian rhythm at the IVC cage level.
